FAQ
Answers before the vaccine
When should I start kitten vaccinations?
+The first FVRCP dose starts at 6-8 weeks, followed by two more every 3-4 weeks, then rabies at 14-16 weeks. After that, an annual booster. Older cats without records need a different protocol — we set it after examination. What are the core vaccines for dogs?
+Core dog vaccines: DHPP (protects against Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvo, Parainfluenza) plus rabies. For dogs that go to parks or travel, we add Bordetella and Leptospira. The schedule starts at 6-8 weeks.Do you provide pet travel certificates?
+Yes — we provide complete international travel papers: certified rabies vaccine, microchip, vet health certificate, and disease-free reports per the destination country's requirements. Start the process at least 30 days before travel. What's the difference between FVRCP and FVRCP+FeLV?
+FVRCP protects against 4 core viral diseases: herpes, calici, panleukopenia, and chlamydia. The 5-in-1 adds Feline Leukemia (FeLV) protection — essential for cats that go outside or live with other cats. We recommend it for outdoor cats. Are vaccines safe during pregnancy?
+No — we avoid vaccinating during pregnancy because some live vaccines can affect fetuses. Best practice is to vaccinate the mother before pregnancy (this also protects the babies via inherited immunity). If your pet is pregnant and unvaccinated, consult us for a tailored plan.
